Fusion Dance Studio seeks to provide top quality professional training in the various aspects of dance.
Instruction will be fun but disciplined with the object of instilling a desire to learn and a sense of self-confidence.

Parents are invited to observe their children from within the dance studios on two separate occasions, once in fall (November 6th - 11th) and again in the spring (March 12th - 17th).


Kelli Wagner

Kelli Wagner is the Owner & Director of Fusion Dance Studio in Buffalo, NY.  She has been dancing since the age of three and has received numerous first place awards at various competitions at the most advanced levels. As a choreographer, Kelli’s work has been featured on ESPN, Fox 29, ABC and the NFL Network.  She has also had the pleasure of choreographing for such artists as T-Pain, Hinder and Kim Mitchell.  Kelli is the proud three-time recipient of America’s Young Choreographer of the Year and her choreography has been recognized with top honors both locally and nationally. She was the choreographer of the NFL Buffalo Bill’s Cheerleaders, the “Jill’s” for 12 seasons and is now currently working with other NFL Teams. Over the years, Kelli has choreographed numerous military shows and has traveled to Iraq to perform for our troops. Kelli has also been active in the scholastic community by previously teaching dance at the University of Buffalo and Nardin Academy in Buffalo. She continues her dance education by not only instructing master level classes, conventions and seminars, but keeps her choreography fresh by attending them as well.

Patrick Higgins

Patrick has taught and choreographed for many studios in the Western New York area.  He has been a dancer for ten years and has been teaching Hip - Hop for the past seven years.  He was a part of the Rap Up the Vote Tour that featured artists such as: Fat Joe and the Terror Squad, Lil Flip, Akon, Twista, Ma$e & Lloyd. His innovative choreography and his love for dance enhance his teaching abilities. We are happy to have Patrick as a member of our faculty.

Courtney Scordato

Courtney has received all of her formal training at Carol Joy’s & Fusion Dance Studio.  She is now a welcome addition to our teaching faculty at Fusion.  Courtney’s training is extensive in dance, acrobatics and cheerleading.  She has been dancing since the early age of 3 and has received numerous high score awards as a competitive cheerleader and dancer at the most advanced levels.  She continues to study at conventions and seminars, and has participated in the NFL Buffalo Bills halftime show with Hinder.  Courtney has choreographed performances for many high school & all star cheerleading teams and her work has also been seen at many different cheerleading events across the country .  She is known to be spirited and humorous, sharing her knowledge, passion and enthusiasm with all of her students.  We’re proud to have her as one of the members of our teaching staff!!

Kara Zambito

Kara Zambito, native of Buffalo, grew up in the competitive dance world.  Studying under some of the most respected teachers and choreographers in the area, she trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Acrobatics.  Her extensive knowledge and her love for dance have contributed greatly to her successful career as a dance teacher and choreographer.  For the past 12 years, Kara has been an integral part of developing and directing the cheer program at Fusion Dance Studio, where she has won many awards for her choreography and training across WNY and the United States.  Extensively trained in all disciplines, Kara feels her true passion and calling is teaching.  She loves developing young dancers technically and finds nothing more gratifying then watching the next generation of dancers thrive under her guidance.

Tammy Gavadin

Tammy Gavadin, a Buffalo New York native, has been dancing since the age of 6 with extensive professional training in jazz, ballet, acrobatics, lyrical, modern and hip-hop.  Tammy’s strong passion for performing arts has led her to pursue a career as a choreographer. Forever a student, Tammy has traveled all over the United States competing in many of the industries top competitions.  Dance is a confidence builder and a wonderful source of exercise. Dance is for all ages and she hopes to instill that same passion within her students that she gained so many years ago.

Hayley Thompson

Hayley Thompson has pursued an extensive dance education, training in Jazz, contemporary, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Cheer since the age of three. Throughout the years, Hayley has trained with various Teachers/Choreographers across the United States.  She is currently attending the University at Buffalo where she is a double major in Dance & Legal Studies. Professionally Hayley’s credits include Rogers Wireless, performing with The Beach Boys, cheering for the NFL Buffalo Bills during the 2013-2014 season and has won many awards in various National Dance Competitions.  Hayley is currently coaching an award winning JV & Varsity Cheerleading team and she is very excited to be sharing her passion for dance and cheer with the students of Fusion Dance Studio.

Anna Jacobi

Anna Jacobi began dancing in Buffalo, NY at the age of three studying classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, pointe, tap and gymnastics. While training with prestigious studios in the area she extended her studies traveling to programs such as NYSSA, and Chautauqua Institute School of Dance.  As her love and passion for the art grew she decided to further her dance education by attending Point Park University, Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, PA where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Dance. While at Point Park she worked with many professionals in the dance industry such as Kiesha Lalama, Jason McDole, Ron Tassone, Alan Obuzor, Susan Stowe and Doug Bentz. Plus, to further her training she went to River North Dance Chicago’s intensive. After graduation from Point Park, Anna worked with Woodridge Productions and Sony Pictures as a Dancer on their new TV series “The Outsiders.” The show premiered in 2016 and is on WGN America. Anna is very excited to be a part of the Fusion Family, sharing her love for the art and all she has learned with the students.

Ashley Casey

Ashley began her dancing career at the age of 3.  She has been a dance instructor for the past 12 years and has won many different awards for her choreography at local and national competitions.  A Buffalo Academy for Visual and Preforming Arts Alumnus, and continued her education at the University of Buffalo pursuing a bachelors degree in Business Administration.  She is a valued member of our faculty, bringing our students quality training.

Shanon Dean

Shanon Dean began dancing at DDD in 1976 at the age of 3. Her love for teaching began as a class assistant at age 14 and by age 18 she was teaching her own classes. Shanon has won numerous choreography, entertainment, and high score awards. However, her greatest achievements are celebrated each and every day, in the classroom at the studio, making artists out of each and every dancer. Her mission is to teach students the beauty and benefits of dance and that its value has nothing to do with awards. Shanon is also a teacher aide in a self-contained classroom in the Amherst school district where she has greatly benefited from working with children with vision impairment, autism, and Down’s Syndrome.  We are very excited to have Ms. Shanon as a part of our faculty.

Hannah Molloy

Hannah’s desire for the arts was evident from a very early age and dance soon became a driving force in her life. Receiving her formal training from Carol Joy’s School of Dance & Future where passion and dedication drove her to a career in the industry.  Throughout her competitive years, Hannah achieved much success, she has won numerous high score awards at both the regional and national dance levels.  She is constantly motivating and inspiring her students, teaching them that dance is not only about the development of technique, but about the development of oneself. She strives to build the self-confidence of her students both on and off the stage.  We are very proud to have Miss Hannah as a member of our faculty!
